I have no idea if fox news used it.
Several media places did use, but media using it doesn't make it correct.
Was there a specific request for me not to use the phrase?
I don't know, but there certainly has been a lot of out of the blue bitching when it has been used.
Here's an example -

It's at the bottom.
"The whole Democrat party laughed at Sarah Palin..." sweet, an article on being honest and they don't use the correct name of a major political party. Which is number ONE on their list, name calling.
http://www.maclife.com/forums/post/1624652#p1624652It wasn't even used on the forum. It was used on a page linked to on the forum, but that was enough to get Jake ticked - and clearly identify it as name calling.

I believe you mean those Democratics.
Wow, you guys are really scoring IQ points here.
Shick, sometimes democrat is used as an insult, sometimes it is just the word that sounds right.
And surprisingly, you don't seem to recognize that we're talking about the instances when it's used as an insult.
"Democrat party" is an insult.
There schnicky clearly identified it as an insult.

What makes tea bagger any different, and if it is not different, why is OK for the left to get upset about incorrect usage of a name as name calling and an insult, but when the left does it to the right, we are just suppose to bend over and spread our butt cheeks?
It is most certainly a hypocritical double standard.
